DINO MERLIN (1999, 2011) IN CONCERT
Edin Dervišhalidović, the Bosnian singer and composer, known to all Eurovision fans as Dino Merlin, is now embarked in a tour to some European cities. Besides his popularity in the former Yugoslav countries, he is now gaining quite a big amount of popularity in Western Europe, and he will be in concert in Ljubjana (Slovenia) and Vienna (Austria) the next June 11 and 18 respectively. The venue chosen for the Austrian concert is the Halle Im Gasometer.
Dino hold a long and productive music career, having founded his first group, Merlin Band, back in 1983 and he recorded 5 studio albumns with it. After some time in silence, Dino came back on stage, singing solo this time in 1991 and since, he has recorded 5 additional albums.
The artist feels like home at Eurovision, having participated both as author in 1993 in Millstreet with Sva vol svijeta (the first ever Bonia Herzegovina entry as a new country) and later on as an on stage singer in Jerusalem 1999 with Putnici and in 2011 with Love in rewind in Dusseldorf, being this last participation the most successful and achieving 6th position with125 points.
