UMK 2012 SELECTION ONGOING
UMK, the new format of the Finnish selection for Eurovision, is in process right now. At the moment 40 songs are fighting for a place in the next phase, but in the meantime YLE is sharing some rarely seen material from how the pre-selection jury got to make their decisions. On the YLE Facebook page people can see how the juries reacted when they first heard the demos of the songs.
The jury is still at work, and the 12 or so songs that will get a proper production into radio versions will be selected amongst those that have created the biggest buzz online. One way to help your favourites is to click on the “Tykkään” (like) button next to the demo you are listening to.
