MAYA TO BAKU
Maya Sar just announced by BHRT as the 2012 Eurovision representative for Bosnia & Herzegovina. She will perform a song composed by her and presented by BHRT on early 2012. The decision based on the successful achievements Maya has in Bosnia and the region.
Maja Sarihodžić (born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina), stage name MayaSar, is a Bosnian singer. Before she started her solo career, MayaSar was a backing vocalist for many famous singers, including Dino Merlin and Tony Cetinski.
Her first single “Nespretno” (Awkwardly) was released in March 2010 and it became big hit in Bosnia & Herzegovina as well as in other neighbor countries. After that she released couple of more singles but her first album is yet to be published. She is considered as one of the most beautiful Bosnian female singers with very touching voice.
Maya Sar participated on Eurovision as a back vocalist in 2004 and 2011 (both times for Bosnia and Herzegovina).
