NINA (2012) GEARS UP FOR SONGS PRESENTATION
Nina Badrić who will represent Croatia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest says she is really excited and honoured to represent her country but admits she has a tough task ahead.
Nina, who is popular throughout the former Yugoslavia, says that the first goal is to make it through into the final. “It is something we haven’t done in years. Everything is possible, we could be first or last”. But Nina adds that she is going to Baku confident and sure of herself.
The Croatian broadcaster HRT says that, together with Nina, they are deciding between two songs to send to Baku. HRT says they will choose the more emotional one since Nina is an exceptional vocalist. The final decision will be made in a few days.
The song will be represented at the DORA festival on the island of Opatija. With the exception of Slovenia, all former Yugoslav countries have decided to internally select their representatives and songs this year, all of them being extremely popular and well known in the region.
