PALOMA SAN BASILIO (1985) IS BACK
Paloma San Basilio seems to want to prove everyone there are no boundaries when you want to achieve new limits.
The Spanish singer, who already had a consolidated career back in 1985 when she represented Spain in Sweden with “La Fiesta Terminó” (The party is over) is repositioning herself along with modern times and new musical beats and is launching a new album involving dance and chill out styles.
At the age of 61, she says: ” I assume not everyone will understand this move, but i,m doing nothing i did not do before. When i started i was already breaking styles and innovating, i do not see why i can´t do it again now”, and she adds : “changing and innovating is a moral obligation for any artist”.
Amolá is the name of the album, where Paloma versions 6 old songs and present 4 new. At this point, the album will be first promoted in South America, where Paloma is a consolidated and recognized artist, and afterwards the album will be promoted in Spain, although there is no official date as of yet.
