MELISSES: WE HAVE NO IDEA ON THE RUMORS
For days now a small fan site claims they know that Melisses group will be chosen internally to represent Greece in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. As oikotimes.com exclusively reported for months now Melisses are not interested in Eurovision at the moment but they are not excluding the idea of participating in national final.
People inside ERT keep vowing and strongly shouting out to the media and press off the record that there will not be internal selection. It is hilarious to read names for the Greek national final as Universal has not yet submitted names to ERT. Information spread on Greek selection are totally false and serve specific interests some of them paid!
UPDATE
Star Channel hosts a statement of the band Melisses, who received last night their golden status for their latest album. In their statements they said that since the Greek National Final 2010 they have received no invitation from their label and Greek broadcaster to enter the national selection again while they said they have no idea of the rumours spread by a specific site!
