MEDIA RUMOUR DORIANS FOR BAKU
Dorians Armenian rock band is not against participation in Eurovision 2012, which will be held in Baku. In the voting in social networks the band leads the probable candidates for participation in Eurovision 2012.
“It is not a secret that we have never suffered from Eurovision participation “fever”, but after Azerbaijan’s victory we have stated for several times that in case of security guarantees we are ready to represent Armenia in Baku,” band’s producer Vahagn Gevorgyan told Armenpress’ correspondent. According to him, without knowing how the Eurovision topic will proceed, the band has specially prepared “This is our world” song, which, according to Mr. Gevorgyan, is suitable for the Azerbaijani stage.
Arman Pahlevanyan has authored the music and Vardan Zadoyan – the words. The producer assured that irrespective of the format of the Armenian pre-electoral round, the band members are ready to leave for Baku and properly represent Armenia during the Eurovision Song Contest. “In case of having security guarantees we will surely participate,” Mr. Gevorgyan stressed.
