OFFICIAL DETAILS ON ROMANIAN FINAL
TVR has just released official info about the Romanian Selection for Eurovision 2012. Starting today, artists can submit songs for the Romanian preselection. The deadline has been set at 23 February. On 28 and 29 February, a jury will select a number of songs to compete in the National Final, the mimum number being 12 songs and the maximum being 17 songs. The Final will take place on 10 March.
According to the regulations all songs that were released after 1 September 2011 can take part. One of the artists that already declared she might submit a song is Lucia Dumitrescu, who was backing-vocal for Elena Gheorghe in 2009, and who also took part in the Romanian NF in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
