AZERBAIJAN DECIDED 2012: SABINA BABAYEVA TO BAKU
The 5 participants(Elton Ibrahimov, Arzu Ismailova, Fagan Safarov, Orkhan Kerimli, Sabina Babayeva) sang 3 songs each of them. Finally, Sabina Babayeva won the competition. Sabina Babayeva became the fifth Azeri representative since the country debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008.
The show took place at the Heydar Aliyev Palace and the hosts were Husniya Maharramova, Leyla Aliyeva and Kamran Guliyev. The quests of the show were the last year’s winners of the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany Ell & Nikki, Kurt Calleja who will represent Malta in Baku and Can Bonomo who will represent Turkey. The final song has not yet been chosen and will be premiered early on March.
