LORDI DRUMMER PASSES AWAY
Lordi drummer, Tonmi ‘Otus’ Lillman, passed away yesterday (Tuesday 14th February) at the age of 38. Lillman joined the Eurovision Song Contest winning band in 2010, after the departure of Sampsa ‘Kita’ Astala.
In a statement from the band: “Our dear friend and bandmate, ‘Otus’ Tonmi Lillman, has sadly passed away. He will be greatly missed and we send our condolences to his family and friends. Otus: we thank You from the bottom of our hearts for the short time we got to know you and spend with you together. Rest in peace, friend.”
In addition to duties with Lordi, Lillman had also worked with Sinergy and To/Die/For. As the time of writing, the cause of death is unknown.
