4G TECHNOLOGY FOR EUROVISION 2012
Today the communications & IT minister Ali Abbasov received general director of country’s key mobile operator Azercell Ali Agan to discuss issues of provision of 4G services in the country. After the meeting Mr. Agan stated that the Company had been sanctioned for provision of 4G services and will start their rendering before contest Eurovision 2012 to be held in Baku this May.
“4G network will be built in the country on the basis of LTE technology. Communication services in modern format 4G will positively tell on the international image of Azerbaijan,” he added. Azercell is the general partner of Eurovision 2012. The contest final will take place in Baku on 26 May.
