PRESS RELEASEOikotimes.com is launching the 5th edition of Junior Europrediction, today. The poll is aiming to ask the web users and websites’ visitors ‘which entry has the best chances to win the 2007 JESC edition’. This year once again the poll is an outcome of the collaboration between oikotimes.com and its fellow partners listed here:
Escsweden.com from Sweden
Eurosong.be from Belgium
Songfestival.web-log.nl from host nation, Netherlands
Eurovision-Cyprus.ueuo.com from next year’s host country, Cyprus
Eurovision.gr from Greece
EscHungary.Extra.hu from Hungary
What Europrediction Is?
It is a poll to promote the interactivity between the users and the contest. Though, in no way, this poll aims not to replace the official show voting or the final outcome. The result of the poll is configured by the users who vote, not necessarily endorsed by oikotimes.com or its partners.
Short History
The Junior Europrediction project launched as of the first JESC edition. Back then Croatia predicted 2nd on oikotimes.com poll. In 2004 Spain was successfully predicted. In 2005 Belarus won the contest but got null points in the poll. In 2006 oikotimes.com visitors and voters were the only ones to predict Russia to win and with the exact points. What will happen this year? Vote and find out!

Procedure
The poll will last one month. It is launched today at 20:15 CET and will close the same time on November 7th. During the voting the visitors will be able to watch the current results of the poll. The security system of the poll though has been tightening up. You can vote once, not for the country from which you are currently located and only through verifying your vote through your e-mail account. Every week oikotimes.com and its partners (in various languages) will keep you updated on the current results. When the poll closes a final estimation on the winner will also be made.
Special ThanksOikotimes.com would like to thank DM for the contribution on the build up of the poll along with the technology provided. At the same time, a special thanks to the 75 visitors who submitted a logo to our logo contest for the JESC poll edition. Katarina Gonda’s artwork proposal won the contest and its prize. All those of you casting your vote to the poll will be drawn for 2 Motorola PEBL mobiles, one official CD and DVD of JESC 2007 edition.
Once again we urge you to cast your vote unbiased and do not attempt vote manipulation. It is clear that a website like oikotimes.com can easily monitor and delete such votes.
