The first information regarding the planning of ERT for the national final show seems to have started to leak. According to information by sources close to ERT the Greek broadcaster is getting ready for the big night of February 27 at the Athinon Arena Music Hall. Hosts will be the Maggira Sisters. Besides the three participants (Chrispa, Kalomira Saranti and Kostas Martakis) there will be few more guests in the show.

Sarbel, the 2007 Greek representative in the Helsinki Eurovision edition, will come on stage to sing 'Yassou Maria' once again. The name of Helena Paparizou is also an option but the first info say that she will greet the participants through a video while a live presence in the venue is not excluded yet. Sarbel's performance (a usual thing in many ESC selection shows to call the last year entrant to perform his/her entry once again) actually will happen for the first time since 2005 ERT began to air shows for the national final. Neither Sakis Rouvas, Helena Paparizou nor Anna Vissi attended the next national final performing live.

Guests from other countries will also be included. The guest list of course will be determined after the draw on January 28 as ERT wants to promote to the Greek public, countries which will participate in the same semifinal as Greece.

Furthermore the songs will be played in play back, the backing vocals as well. The only live in the show will be the voices of the performers. It is expected that ERT will reach a peak in TV rates and voting SMSs and phone calls on that night as the interest will rise.
