It's going to be a busy Saturday night for the Eurovision Fans across Europe with Cyprus, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania and Switzerland all in the spotlight. In Cyprus we have the national final, whilst in Switzerland we have the song presentation for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Denmark will air the first semifinal along with Lithuania and Iceland airing the first wildcard shows of their respective national finals. SWITZERLAND - 20:10 CET
SF1, TSR2 and TSI2 air at 20:10 CET the 6th Swiss Awards during which the national broadcaster of Switzerland will present the song which will represent the country in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Sandra Studer (aka Simò) will host the show. Sandra is known to the eurofans as she represented Switzerland in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest. The song entry for 2008 is performed by Paolo Meneguzzi and is titled Era Stupendo.
