Maltese broadcaster PBS has confirmed that Malta will participate at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest held in Limassol, Cyprus on November 22nd. For a while, it was uncertain whether the small island would continue to participate, as the results haven't been very good in the past years and the interest of the Maltese population isn't very high.
So far, twelve countries have confirmed their participation, these countries are: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus (host), Georgia, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands, Romania, Russia and Ukraine. Also, it is possible that the United Kingdom and Poland will return and Israel is expected to make it's Junior Eurovision debut in Limassol.
