The second competing night, held yesterday in Jurmala, Latvia, of the 6th "New Wave 2007" music festival is about to start in a while in RTR. The New Wave Festival is an international competition of young singers of popular music, among them are some famous to the Eurovision audience artists: Mihai Traistariu (Romania 2006), Polina Smolova (Belarus 2006) and Natalia Gordienko (Moldova 2006). Yesterday, RTR aired the first competing night, where the contestants performed world-famous hits. At the show that was aired yesterday, Mihai received 81 points, Polina 100 and Natalia 100. Kostas Martakis sang the famous Greek song ''Paidia tou Peirea'' accompanied with four male dancers in white outfits. Kostas was awarded 103 points from the jury.
Natalia Gordienko (2006) sings the traditional Moldovan song accompanied with 4 dancers. Natalia awarded by the jury with 105.
Polina Smolova (Belarus 2006) sings her song with two male dancers and two female. Polina takes 95 points from the jury.
Mihai sings alone on the stage a ballad song named “Say something” and awarded with 107 from the jury.
