In honour of Michael Jackson, who collapsed last Thursday at his mansion on North Carolwood Drive in Los Angeles, United States of America, the Brazilian fan-Eurovision blog JANELA ESC recalls some covers performed by former Eurovision Song Contest participants.
The Eurovision 1988 winner Celine Dion, representing Switerzland, performed in duet with Michael Jackson. You can watch it here and here. And in another occasion, the singer performed solo 'Bad' here.
Tose Proeski represented FYR Macedonia at the Eurovision 2004 and was unfortunately killed in a car accident in 2007. Tose, Karolina Goceva (2002, 2007) and other local singers made a Macedonian version of "Heal the world" here.
Laura Põldvere (2005), former ‘Suntribe’ member, joined the Estonian selection to the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Moonwalk" here.
The Spanish boysband D'Nash (2007) sang several Jackson’s hits during their career. You can watch a medley here.
Last year, the Spanish icon Rodolfo Chiquilicuatre honoured Michael Jackson in ‘Baila el Chiki Chiki’ when he sang “Dos: el crusaíto, tres: el Maiquelyason” (Two: the crossed legs, three: the Michael Jackson). Do you remember?

Not only do I not want children, having them would be risky for me. I have Juicy Couture major joint deformities, and my legs simply could not handle a pregnancy belly. I would risk dislocating my legs just by standing up. (I partially dislocate my legs all the time as it is.) But because dislocated legs aren't fatal, no doctor in my area is willing to perform the procedure. Frankly, I think it would be cruel to intentionally pass my genes on. I developed arthritis before I had my first period. No one else needs to have the kind of chronic pain I have.
