The whole country is about to witness the Final of the National Selection for Junior Eurovision Song Contest – 2007 which will be broadcasted live on the First National Channel of Ukraine.The professional jury has selected 12 participants who will compete with each other for the right to represent Ukraine at JESC-2007 Grand Final on 8th of December in Rotterdam!Here is the list of the finalists: 1. Ilona Galyts’ka12. “Fresh Time” quartet  In the meantime, all the teenagers are having summer holidays and young Ukrainian stars are not exceptions. But some of them really enjoy their rest, some of them work hard and some of them try to combine training and rest.There is a short review of the finalists below. They are sharing their opinion of summer holiday activities.

Vladyslav Bielik
The best kind of rest for Vladyslav is spending time at his grandmother. She lives in the village. But, unfortunately, this year he hasn’t visited his grandmother yet as he is busy preparing for the final and participating in different festivals and contests. He is in Poland now where the regular contest of young artists takes place. 2. Dmytro Borodin  Dmytro Borodin is having rest at a children’s camp in Slovianogorsk. It is a great place near the river and forest. He is also preparing vigorously for the final of the National Selection for Junior Eurovision Song Contest – 2007. Dmytro continues to have vocal trainings even during his holiday

Yaryna Shust  
In August Yaryna was invited to Chicago for the meeting with the Ukrainians. She will perform on stage on 24th of August when Ukraine will celebrate its National holiday –Independence Day. Yaryna has an interesting hobby. She takes a great interest in riding the horse. She understands these animals and considers them friends.At present she is preparing for the contest like all other participants. 4. Valeriia Dmytrenko 

Nazariy Shchehelsky  
Nazariy admits that he spends most of his free time at holiday house. “I don’t like all those children’s camps, I just adore my holiday house”. Nazariy combines his rest with the vocal trainings. He also attends choreography classes.  6. Khrystyna Barabulya ]Khrystyna Barabulya considers learning to be the best kind of rest. She has just come back from the festival “Moloda Halychyna” where Khrystyna got the third prize. So, she combines her rest with rehearsals. She got used to be responsible for herself. The most important thing to her is to come and perform in the best way!

Victoria Petryk  
Victoria almost doesn’t have any rest. She takes part in different contests, such as festival “Black Sea Games” (“Chornomorski Igry”) in Scadovsk, “Moscow-Yalta transit”. On 13d of August she visited “Artek”. There was a final gala-concert of the winners of the contest “The Country of Stars” (“Kraina zirok”) in which she took part. Then she is planning to get ready for school study and prepare for the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest thoroughly. She got the brightest impression of the summer from the participation in the festival “Slavic market” (“Sloviansky bazar”).

Mariyetta Ivanova        
Mariyetta Ivanova is having rest in “Artek” now. Exactly here the 6th International Festival “Let’s change the world for better” took place. Having participated in it Mariyetta represented Ukraine successfully. Besides, she has already had rest together with her mother in Turkey and within this trip she visited many ancient places of this country. 10. Vlad KarashchukVlad Karashchuk is very occupied with participation in different contests and festivals like “Black Sea Games” (“Chornomorski Igry”), “The Country of Stars” (“Kraina zirok”) where he performs Michael Jackson’s songs. And the breaks between performances are treated as minutes of rest. He doesn’t think about the competition at all. He wants to perform in the best way and impress the audience favorably.11. Ilona Galyts’kaIlona Galyts’ka has already had rest in the Crimea and now she is in Mykolaiv. She is also a participant of “Black Sea Games” (“Chornomorski Igry”) like some other finalist of Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She is planning to go to Illichivs’k where she will combine rest with work. The most exciting moment of summer is her visit to dolphinarium. During all summer period she has trainings as some changes in choreography appear and she should immediately manage it successfully. She also attends classes in playing the piano and solfeggio. She thinks that every participant is worth being a winner. But a real winner will be only that who will show the best performance and who will get the most votes from the viewers.
