The Host City Insignia Exchange began in Oslo with the Deputy Mayor of Moscow and the Mayor of Oslo to be the top figures of the event. Also Svante Stockselius spoke for the significance of the event while as eurovision.tv reports, more than 100 journalists attend the ceremony.

Baerum's ballet school dancers entertained the guests who exceed the number of 500. Alexander Rybak is now on stage performing his Eurovision winning entry "Fairytale".
