Six songs will be presented on each show hosted by former Maltese Eurovision representative Claudette Pace. The jury heard the 36 semi-finalists and their votes were sealed and remained in possesion of the PBS notary until the public vote casted thoughout the upcoming six weeks will be added in order to come out with 20 finalists. The 20 finalists will participate in the Malta Eurosong 2010 final to be held on 20th February and as ESCMALTA.com earlier revealed for the fourth consecutive year it will be held at the Malta Fairs & Convention Centre, Ta’ Qali.

Meanwhile the tele-voting and sms-voting will have the weight of two judges in total. The public vote will open before the first song is performed in each show and remains open till the forthcoming Saturday at 16:30 CET. 5 judges heard the semi-finalists today behind close doors and therefore this means that in total 7 judges will determine who will qualify to the final. Note that one can vote up to three times from each line.
