With Christmas 2009 being just around the corner the Team of Radio International would like to invite you for this week’s edition of the crazy Eurovision Request show. Radio International will be web-televised via
www.oikotimes.com linking up the European Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read out your messages on air (on line ). The simulcast will be from 2000 – 2200 hours via
www.oikotimes.com where as the third hour from 2200 hours will only be available as live stream (audio) via
www.radiointernational.tk.
Highlights of the show:
• Eurovision meets South Africa: The mini series continues with Part 3 of 3 in the third hour of Radio International which is entirely devoted to Eurovision Song Contest meeting South Africa where South African artists sing Eurovision songs in the Africaans language. You will hear the original first and then the Africaans version of the Eurovision entry for you to compare. More information is available via the following website:

• EUROVISION FLASHBACK: We continue the series where the Radio International Eurovision correspondents will each be talking a look at Norway’s participation at the Eurovision Song Contest since Norway will be the host of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. This week Marcus Keppel-Palmer has his historical look back at the Scandinavian Eurovision Winner. This week: The Years 2001 – 2005.
• Interviews with Melodifestivalen participants 2010 in Sweden: The Radio International rowing reporter Lilian Brunell in Stockholm has interviewed some potential Swedish Representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 for us which we will air during this week on Radio International. Last week we aired the interviews with Jenny Silver, Andreas Johnson and Ola. This week we will air the interviews with Anders Ekborg, Jessica Andersson and Linda Pritchard. (and more to come - just received a whole number of interviews from Stockholm.
