Last evening, the second semifinal of ‘Festivali i Kenges’ was held in Tirana. Among 18 newcomers, two songs won the ticket to the final, to be held next Sunday. The two winning songs are: ‘Tirana Brodëay’ (Agim Krajka/Goldi Halil) performed by Goldi Halili and ‘Zërin tim ta ndjesh’ (Edmond Rrapi/Ledi Shqiponja) performed by Iris Hoxha. This two songs will be joined on stage by 18 pre-qualified experienced acts, first presented last Thursday.
This Saturday, the 20 songs in the final will be pre-presented, but this time in different versions.

i have to wonder, does this country want to win eurovision ever? i don't think so. they have crap songs they don't know how to dress or make up. this nation needs serious help and modernization. it's hilarious to have such a redicule acts from such a fashionless nation. it's a shame for eurovision

After hearing these two possible Albanian entries, I have to say that I liked the concept behind the Broadway tune, but I didn't like the singer's voice. The second one is a more traditional melody and the singer does go at it with all her might. I don't think these two songs stand a chance with the Albanian voters; mind you I don't know the other finalists, I'm just speculating.
