Stay with us for the live report of the second show in Germany called "Unser Star für Oslo". The hosts are again Sabine Heinrich and Matthias Opdenhövel, along with Stefan Raab the jury consists of Sarah Connor, probably Germany's most successful female artist and Peter Maffay, longtime rockartist, composer of hundreds of songs and a popular musical for children called "Tabaluga".

The show has now started, Sabine and Matthias are welcoming the audience and TV viewers. First of all we get a short review of all 5 artists that passed last week to the second round.
After Stefan Raab now Sarah Connor and Peter Maffay are entering the stage to take their seats. We are ready to welcome the first artist for tonight!
Her name is Jennifer Braun, she is 18 years old and comes from Eltville. Jennifer has chosen "I'm outta love", the song that made Anastacia popular. Immediately Jennifer presents her amazing dark soul voice and is also cool enough to play with the camera. Peter is asked for his opinion and liked it, he says she's got music in her blood and that is was a well-done first performance. Sarah is impressed by Jennifers voice. Stefan thinks that it is very hard to open a show and couldn't find any note out of tune. She was very present and self-confident on stage.
Artist no. 2 is Benjamin Hartmann, 25 years old, from Gschwend. His song is "Better together" by Jack Johnson. His performance is focussed on him and his guitar,which was a good decision. Stefan is very relaxed and liked Benjamins timing on the guitar, but missed a little sovereignty in his vocals. Sarah wished he would proceed to the next round so that she could hear another song. Peter thought it was very likable and also found some mistakes in the intonation, but overall it was a good performance.
Third act tonight is Maria Lisa Straßburg, who is 21 years old and from Neuhof/Ostsee. Her song is "Saving my face" by KT Tunstall. She is a street musician but presents her song as if she had been on big stages for years already. Sarah is amazed, as she was even better than during the rehearsals and she would love to see her for Germany. Peter found it hard to be seated on his chair, she showed a lot of self-confidence. Stefan points out that he is happy to see a girl on stage that is not a bimbo, as she seems to be a pretty normal girl. He liked the crisp in and the sound of her voice.
Next one is Behnam Sefi, 28, from Hamburg. John Legend is his choice, the song is called "Save Room". He looks very good, but unfortunately he is out of tune a few times. Overall he seems to be more insecure than thee three artists before him. Sarah had the impression that if she closed her eyes, John Legend would have been there. She also heard the parts that were out of tune but still enjoyed it. Peter expresses that his performance was very male and comfortable to listen to. Stefan agrees with Sarah that there was a lack in his intonation but still very convincing.
From Munich we will now meet Sharyhan Osman, 23 years old. Her song is "I have nothing", Whitney Houston. I must admit, I am already impressed, she is so sure in what she is doing, self-confident and convincing - wow! The audience thinks the same. Stefan was first frightened when somebody wants to sing a song by Whitney Houston, but in this case there were almost no mistakes, very gifted and very professional. Sarah agrees with Stefan and didn't notice anything out of tune. Peter was touched by her performance and likes her voice a lot.
The sixth artist for tonight is Alex Senzig, 23, from Saarlouis with "Whereever you will go" by The Calling.Alex is good but honestly not good enough, if he proceeds to the next round it is probably because of his smart looks. Peter would Alex easily borrow his guitar and there is not much that he could do better, all he needs is a little more power. Stefan had the impression he was hiding behind his guitar and heard a few parts out of tune. Sarah doesn't agree and thinks he was really a bomb on screen and that his overall performance was very charming.
Number 7 is Jana Wall, 25, also from Munich.She is singing Pink's "Who knew". The verses were ok, but during the chorus she clearly shows she can't keep up with Pink. Jana is looking like a supermodel, from the vocal abilities she was the worst. Sarah though liked listening as well. Peter missed some more moves. Stefan expresses she had a good timing and was very presen, it seems that I am the only one who heard how much she was out of tune.
Next up is Franziska Weber, 21, from Saarbrücken. She is singing "Love Philosophy" by Jamiroquai. Franziska is wearing a wig who should bring her luck, in fact she looks like Marilyn Monroe. Peter loves the wig and didn't notice that she was nervous, he liked the performance. Sarah agrees, likes her style and recommends that she takes off the wig next time. Stefan is a lot more euphoric, he enjoyed her timing, she took out the funk in the song and thinks it is very very good.
Number 9 is Leon Taylor, 26 years old, from Dietzenbach. Finally somebody has chosen a German song, "Der Weg" by Herbert Grönemeyer. Danke, Leon! His voice is awesome, I already liked him when he was singing "Tears in heaven" during his casting. I will definetely call for him! The audience is clapping in between the song - for the first time in both shows. Stefan asked where he had been before he came to USFO and that Grönemeyer is sitting in front of his TV asking himself why he doesn't have such a voice. He points out that is was very brave to choose a German song and even if he would sing a Schlager song, Stefan would still like it. Sarah is under a charm and asks him to produce a record. Peter thinks that Leon is full of music, he opened himself to the audience and knows when it's time to show his strength.
The last and final contestant is Christian Durstewitz, 20 years old from Alten-Lohtheim. His song is "Faith" by George Michael.Another good performance and finally the audience has woken up after Leon did such a fantastic job. Christian could easily replace one of the twins from Next Time and rocked the house. Sarah noticed all that and compliments him on his performance. Peter wants to hear more songs, Christian offered him to come backstage where he can have more. Stefan is amazed by his stage personality and how he worked with the audience and praises the live music by The Heavytones.
It's time for the jury to make their guesses who will proceed to the next round.

Sarah: Leon, Christian, Maria-Lisa, Franziska and Alex in - the others out
Stefan: Christian, Leon, Franziska, Maria-Lisa and Jennifer - the others out
