4KIDS is the band that will represent Romania in JESC, in The Netherlands. They are four well-talented artists. Oikotimes interviewed them exclusively. They told us how they get to know each other, how they wrote the song and which are their expectations in Rotterdam.

How do you fell representing Romania at Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
Hi, Sebastian! We are Gabriela, Sabrina, Mircea and Bogdan, that means 4KIDS. The day we won the Romanian selection was the best in our whole life. We were very happy receiving twelve points both from the jury and televoting. We hardly wait to arrive at the Rotterdam adventure.

Tell us about how you get together in this formula?
We know each other from the music contests we took part. Internet helped us to keep in touch a lot. After Gabriela and Bogdan tried some times to win the selection in other editions, we decided to put our forces together and to create a strong group.

Which is your song message?
Our song is very easy. It is a song with direct message – we want to make it a children hit in the whole Europe. That`s why four little artists joined together and invite you to song with them a simple chorus: “Sha, la la”

How did you compose the song?
We both study piano. So we get together and start the work. Everyone in this group had a contribution.

What about your rehearsals?
We meet together twice in a month, in the weekends. We rehearsal with our canto teachers, Mirela and Cornel Figaru, but with the coregraphy ones too, Doina and Florin Botis.

How it is to represent your country after the great Romanian results in JESC?
Romania has lots of talented children, so we find the results absolutely normal. Alina (JESC`05), Mircea`s sister, shared with us her JESC experience. She encourages us a lot and tells us that if we are well prepared, any result is possible. Although this, at our early age, any contest it`s a game. We don`t forget to play.

What do you expect from the Netherlands competition?
We hardly wait to meet talented contestants and JESC and to make there a lot of friends. We would be happy if SHA LA LA was a success and if the the spectators would sing it with us.

Do you have any message for our readers?
We would like you to learn our songs, and to sing it with us on December 8. And of course to vote for us. We kindly invite you to get to know us better visiting our website www.4kids4jesc.com . See you soon!
